LOGISTICS SUMMIT 2019'Levers for Improving Logistics Competitiveness'

Progression towards integrated logistics and transportation is important for improved logistics competitiveness of the country. Conducive business environment and support from Government policies are likely factors which improve attractiveness of logistics sector. Present Government's commitment towards building national logistics infrastructure such as road and rail networks, ports and logistics parks is resulting in improved efficiencies. In addition the increasing trend of well-established multinational logistics companies' entry into India is a good indicator of rapidly growing sectorial attractiveness.
To be competitive and thrive in this emerging market it is important to emphasize on levers of logistics efficiencies. Few levers of logistics efficiencies include modern storage facilities and fixtures, material handling equipment, information and communication systems, skilled human resources and voluntary adoption of industry standards.
Against this background, CII Institute of Logistics is organising a one day Logistics Summit 2019 on the side-lines of the exhibition on 4th February 2019 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
